Meeting Baby Anand

Brighton was so excited to meet Baby Anand. He couldn't wait to hold him, and, when he did, he sang him the ABC song and Jesus Loves Me in the sweetest, softest voice. He was so gentle, too! Micah was also very happy and curious to meet his new baby cousin-will have to post pics of that later. What a great day!

Afterward, we went and ate lunch with David. Uncle David drew a moustache on his finger, and so Brighton asked for a smiley face on his. Too cute! Then, popsicles for everyone!

Baby Lucas #2!

First Haircut!!

Brighton went for his first haircut yesterday! He was very excited as you can see--he's saying, "Go! Go! Go!" We went to The Hair Den and saw Mr. Layne (a great recommendation from Uncle Thad!). This is the "Before" Shot.

What a cool barbershop! As soon as Brighton walked in, Mr. Layne gave him a truck--a HUGE hit! And then he got to sit in Daddy's lap (Daddy got the cape, and Brighton got a towel, which you'll see in the next picture!

The spray bottle was a little unexpected!

Brighton apparently doesn't like the back of his hair messed with....and it was so cute, I don't blame him!
